Mayo Kohama is an award-winning Japanese calligraphy instructor based in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.

She established her studio in 2003 and has taught many students of all ages and ability levels. In 2016, she moved back to Japan and enrolled in the Tankai School of Calligraphy, where she studied for two years. Since then, she has used her skills to enter numerous competitions and send work on touring exhibitions in Japan.
